What do you See in this Wine!

We are obsessed with producing premium wines with spirit and complexity, which hold a candle to wines produced anywhere else in the world. Combining seasoned expertise in vineyard operations with skillful artistry in the Winery, we have been able to produce powerful, fruit forward styles that reflect the terroir of the vineyard. We use only traditional small barrels and winemaking techniques that result in wines with stylistic layering and complexity.

Our 10 acre vineyard has bountiful 10-14 year old vines that have produced several award-winning wines. With our west-facing orientation and close proximity to the lake we are able to enjoy long, hot days, cool nights and a long growing season. These beautiful surroundings are not only pleasing to the eye and spirit, they are pleasing to the grape and are very inspiring to both human and vine.

Winemaker: Steven Latchford

Steven Latchford started his training in 2001 at the age of 18.   He enrolled and graduated from Niagara College's Winery & Viticulture Technology Program in Niagara-on-the-Lake,Ontario.  Working with Vincor during this time, he was able to experience the many aspects of the wine industry, including retail sales, organic/sustainable viticulture, and lastly working in Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery for 6 vintages. Under the careful guidance of winemakers Tom Seaver and Marco Picolli, Steve was shown what it takes to make wine in an ever changing cool climate region.

In the summer of 2007 Steve moved to the Okanagen Valley, because of the potential he had seen in this growing region.   He found a position as the assistant winemaker at The Holman Lang Group of wineries on the Naramata Bench where he has helped raise the quality of the wines during the companies growth.

Steve is excited with the potential of Therapy Vineyards to display his ability's, and looks forward to crafting showcase wines.
