Our “Pink” grapes are grown specifically for rosé style wines. What does this mean? In order to achieve the necessary acidity, we ensure that our grape bunches are protected from the hot summer afternoon sun rays at all times. The majority of the fruit that made up this wine was harvested from our Estate Vineyards in the Naramata area to ensure that optimal growing conditions were met.
Once harvested by hand, the whole bunches of merlot grapes underwent an extended 4-day cold soak period. This resulted in the gentle extraction of colour and the enhancement of the vibrant aromas of our merlot grapes.
