2018 Super Ego
Our Super Ego is a marriage of two distinctively different regions in the Okanagan Valley. The intense heat in Oliver helps develop our big fruit aromas while our Naramata fruit aids in the wine's elegance and acid story line. Fermented in both small 1800 kg tanks along with tiny 800 kg fermenters. This range in fermentation vessels allows the wine making team to gain the nuances and complexity from different batches and vineyard sites. The resulting wine is dense and complex. Aged in oak barrels for 25 months; 23% of which was in new French oak. Cellar 7 to 10 years. Decanting recommended.
